The Fujikura 48S+ Fusion Splicer is a high-precision core-alignment fiber optic splicing machine engineered for professional telecom, FTTH, and data-center deployments. It uses active core alignment technology to deliver very low splice loss (e.g., ~0.02 dB for G.652 fibers), and supports 100 splice modes plus 30 heating modes for versatile fiber applications. With a fast typical splice time of around 6 seconds, and a heater time of ~25 seconds, this splicer boosts field efficiency. It comes with a 4.9-inch TFT touchscreen display, stores up to 10,000 splice results, and supports a wide range of fibers (SMF, MMF, DSF, NZDSF) with cladding diameters of 80–150 µm.
